Senior Health Care Analyst

 The qualified candidate will be responsible for performing fundamental research on Healthcare and Pharmaceutical companies, specifically those targeting Orphan indications and re-formulations.

Responsibilities

•             Monitor and review existing investments and generate new investment ideas.

•             Prepare financial models and projections to determine equity valuations.

•             Prepare reports and present them senior management

•             Maintain financial models and update investment thesis reports.

•             Develop and maintain relationships with companies as well as industry experts

•             Assist in the development and implementation of portfolio strategies

•             Monitor political and regulatory changes to spot key trends and position the portfolio accordingly.

Requirements

•             10+ years working experience within healthcare research or at pharmaceutical companies

•             Masters Degree in Life science /MD/Immunology/Genetics/Molecular biology/Pharmacology /Chemistry/Biology/Physiology

•             Preferably from industry / buy-side setting in the investment management industry including mutual fund, hedge fund, investment management firms

•             Proved stock picking ability with fundamental value and long-term focused

•             Portfolio management designation, CFA preferred

•             Excellent valuation and financial modeling
